Due to a late addition to the NZSL in schools, one of my students was unfortunately just pipped short of the mark for the full intervention criteria. After much perseverance on my part it looks like the student may now start receiving a top up to TA hours in order to cover his extreme needs. To top things off, it looks like his TA's might be up for some additional PD to up-skill them with some of the essentials they will need to maximize their effectiveness. This news was the highlight of my week after being the squeaky wheel for so long :)
