Goal 4: Student Focus

“To establish and facilitate the use of an online collection of evidence to show both key competencies and learning journey of a student which will be shared with all members of the student's IEP support team”

Background Information
As an RTD there is an expectation to share information with all the members of the student's IEP/Support team. The information can rage from important assessment results to simple reflections on how the student coped with a challenge on a particular day. As part of the initial team meeting, it was agreed that everyone would keep in touch regarding my student's progress. So far, the communication has been limited if even done, and most has been directly to the class teacher without being shared to all.
My plan is to create a platform where the student's goals, achievements, challenges and successes can be shared and added to by the teacher, parents, support staff and myself. It will be accessible at all times rather than skimmed like an email. It will also serve as a storage area for all resources needed to facilitate the students learning goals.
