With specific focus on my NZSL IEP i made some changes to my timetable to ensure I would be able to make the 60 minute journey to the Anton Centre in time for the Tuesday's 3.30pm classes. It's been a while since I was last able to make these sessions as I am so far away. I was nervous as I don't get the chance to practice what I have earned over the years.
Within a few moments of starting the session, it was all coming back to me. It's clear that the knowledge is there but it's rather rusty. The only solution for this is the fortnightly classes as well as regular NZSL activities and practice in my own time.
